Confirmed The series starts October 14, 2026 on Disney+. Paul Bettany is back as Vision and James Spader returns as Ultron. It wraps up the story that began in WandaVision (2021) and continued in Agatha All Along (2024). Marvel showed the first trailer at D23 in August 2026 (Marvel). The showrunner is Terry Matalas, and Ruaridh Mollica and Emily Hampshire also star.
Confirmed Marvel screened the first episode for fans at New York Comic Con on October 8, 2026 (Marvel).
Reported Early reactions from that screening were mostly positive, and at least one critic called it a worthy follow-up to WandaVision. Variety also reports the cast of AI characters: Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., James D'Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S. and T'nia Miller as Jocasta, with Mollica playing a grown-up Tommy (Variety).
Confirmed In theaters December 18, 2026, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. Robert Downey Jr. plays Victor von Doom, which he revealed at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2024. Marvel's own teasers say Steve Rogers, Thor and the X-Men return.
Confirmed Cast Marvel announced in its March 2025 livestream includes Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum and Pedro Pascal. Chris Evans returns as Steve Rogers (Marvel teaser).
Confirmed Tickets went on sale July 20, 2026 for "Infinity Vision" screens, Disney's label for certified premium large-format theaters (Marvel).
Reported The runtime is about 165 minutes (2 hours 45 minutes), though not final (The Hollywood Reporter). It won't play in IMAX at first, because Dune: Part III opens the same day and holds IMAX screens for three weeks (Variety).
Reported Set for December 17, 2027, one year after Doomsday, also from the Russo brothers. Marvel moved both Avengers movies back in 2025: Doomsday from May 2026 and Secret Wars from May 2027 (Variety).
Confirmed A new live-action Marvel Television series, announced at New York Comic Con on October 8, 2026. It is a spy thriller coming to Disney+ in 2028, and Marvel says filming begins this spring. Marvel shared no cast or story details yet (Marvel).
Rumor Not confirmed. At San Diego Comic-Con in July 2026, Ryan Reynolds crashed Marvel's Hall H panel in a denim Deadpool suit and asked the Doomsday cast for a part (The Hollywood Reporter). At D23 in August, Hugh Jackman appeared in a video asking to join, with Reynolds heard off screen (The Playlist). Some sites read that as a yes. Marvel hasn't put either actor on the cast list, so for now it's a tease.
Confirmed At New York Comic Con, Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter and Finn Jones came on stage to show new footage from Daredevil: Born Again season 3, which Marvel says is the final season. Mike Colter could not attend (Marvel).
Reported Deadline says Marvel recently backed away from a second season of Wonder Man (Deadline). Marvel has not said so itself.
Confirmed Avengers Endgame: Encore opened September 25, 2026 with added scenes that lead into Doomsday (Marvel trailer).
Reported The rerelease pushed Endgame past Avatar to become the highest-grossing movie worldwide again (The Hollywood Reporter).
