Reading the site

You can read everything here without an account. Like most sites, we use Google Analytics (Google's visit counter) to count anonymous page visits: which pages are viewed, the type of device, and a rough region that Google works out itself. Its ads signals are turned off, the page address is sent without anything after a ? or #, and no personal info (names, email addresses, account ids) is ever sent to it. Signing in is not shared with it. Also, Google AdSense shows ads that may use cookies to pick what you see. You can turn off personalized ads at Google's ad settings.

If you make an account

You can sign in with Google (Facebook is coming). We keep only the id and name that account gives us (its first name when it has one) and when you joined, plus a sign-in cookie on your device. We never get your password, we don't keep your email, and we never post anything for you. Accounts are for people 13 or older.

My Marvel: your lists

The movies you mark as seen, your saved list, your favorite characters, the hidden details you've found, your rank and your spoiler setting are kept in your own browser on this device and are not sent to us. If you're signed in, we also keep a copy with your account (up to 16 KB) so they follow you to your other devices. "Clear my list on this device" on My Marvel empties the browser copy.

Deleting your data

Go to Sign in, open "Delete my account" and tap the button. Your account, its sign-ins and the copy of your lists are deleted right away. Signing out only ends the sign-in on that device.
